Hi! I’m Jessica Bullock. I’m a speech-language pathologist who is passionate about helping children and their families find creative solutions to overcome communication challenges. I graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon in 2006 with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Religious Studies and English. I then went on to attend post-baccalaureate courses in Communication Disorders at Portland State University. I earned a Masters of Science in Speech & Hearing Sciences from Portland State University in 2011. After receiving my Masters, I worked in Camas School District from 2011 until 2020. Over the last several years, I have focused my work on helping children and their families use alternative and augmentative communication systems (AAC). I believe that all children are intelligent, curious, and have something to say, and they deserve to live in a society who accepts, values, and welcomes their participation with their unique abilities. I have extensive experience working with children with speech sound disorders, language delays, and complex communication needs associated with Autism, Down Syndrome, and medical fragility. I am passionate about discovering a child’s strengths and partnering with families to find creative solutions to participate fully in society. I am licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Washington. I am also nationally certified through the American Speech & Hearing Association (ASHA). I live out in the boonies of Battle Ground, Washington with my husband and two daughters. I enjoy cooking, gardening, watching birds, and quilting.
